I love it at Figure

Pros

Remote work and incredible blockchain opportunity. Very smart people. Also, despite the review I read which prompted me to post this, I think it's the most transparent place I have worked. The company shares the board deck each quarter and reviews the KPIs in the weekly all hands. This is also the first startup that explained the value of my equity to me upfront and over time.

Cons

There is a lot going on, and sometimes it is hard to know who owns what.

Great place to work for Veterans!

Pros

Not only is Figure a cutting edge FinTech company, it is also a great place to work for Veterans. They don't just hire Veterans to boost their numbers but rather see the immense value in what our country's service members bring to the business world after they leave the Military. They also provide great benefits, flexible time off, and a fun, collaborative work environment.

Cons

None that I can think of at this time. I love working at Figure!

Pros

- Lots of snacks, drinks, games and comfy seats in the breakroom. - Outside balcony to eat lunch and decompress. - Most of the people are nice and helpful. - Employer-paid insurance that provides pretty good coverage. - Parking stipend. - A couple of parking garages for paid parking. - Employer-paid notary training. - Lots of overtime. - Free gym in the building. - A fair amount of PTO is provided. - Casual dress code.

Cons

- They used to have healthy snacks, but now it's 90% junk food. - Training seemed thorough until new products were introduced, and then there were mostly crash courses. - Lots of attrition due to the amount of work vs. pay. - Shift bids. - There is virtually no downtime. - There does not appear to be a clear path, training or feedback to foster growth. - Not a lot of diversity and there are no Employee Resource Groups. - Metric-driven atmosphere that does not appear to focus on the strengths of the employee. - Not a lot of feedback on how to improve when mistakes are reported by Quality Assurance. - Hard to find parking in downtown Reno. - Processes and procedures change rapidly and there is not a lot of time to read the changes that are posted due to the volume.
