Pros

- Some of the best, smartest people I've ever gotten to work with. If you're on the right team, it can be an amazing place to work. - Competitive pay in some departments (desperately lacking in others) - Solid funding/cash positioning as a VC backed startup

Cons

- While senior leadership touts "transparency" multiple data points and experiences have made it clear this is largely performative. You can easily test this by asking a hard, but valid question in the weekly "ask me anything" - A good handful of teams and leaders that are best described as "toxic" and have created a high-stress, punitive micro-culture. Have observed some clear instances of favoritism and nepotism by executive leadership.

Pros

Good Pay, decent upward mobility due to company growth, lots of snacks, great desks and computers.

Cons

Leadership unengaged, HR unable to support employees in a meaningful way, does not staff appropriately to volume, "if you don't like it then leave" mentality, employee feedback dismissed, leadership in operations dismissive. Terminations are not communicated to the supervisors of the teams.

Pros

Healthcare, food, and time off benefits.

Cons

Lack of leadership and management. No opportunity to grow and advance internally unless you are friends with upper management and play into the office politics games they play If you have ambition with a variety and experiance skill set of leadership, training, and business skills, then this place is not for you. They do not appreciate and value their employees and will give you more responsibilities and a title without the pay. It's good for people that are starting out as their first corporate job and a good stepping stone to learn about home equity lines, real estate, and corporate business setting. However, it is like a high school and can confirm and acknowledge the prior negative reviews are 100% accurate. I do hope they find a solution to try to improve their work culture and most of all change up their leadership with actual people with experiance and not just some person they hire because they are good friends, or play good at office politics. Please stop passing up good hard-working people that have been there for years and expanded their knowledge on the product and enhanced trainings and projects for Figure.
