Little to be Desired

Pros

If you live in SLC, it’s a convenient location, good food places for lunch, nice co-workers and nice office space.

Cons

Filevine’s new comp plan despite record profits and numbers in 2023 is laughable, quota is raised 50-75%, realistic OTE is reduced by 30-40%. Being asked to do more than ever and ever moving goalposts on what’s required. Commissions are paid out incorrectly with no accountability or oversight. If you like high stress for marginal pay, this is a great job for you. People are not happy and sales morale is an all time low, several people are on their way out the door. Management treat’s and view AE’s like royalty and all other sales departments as marginal, non-skilled and untalented employees.

An Unfortunate Experience

Pros

-Food -Stunning Office -Great coffee

Cons

Working at Filevine has been a deeply disappointing experience, marked by broken promises, excessive workload, and a toxic work culture. Firstly, the company made grand promises of extra bonuses, only to renege on them without explanation or apology. This lack of transparency and integrity left employees feeling deceived and undervalued. Furthermore, the work environment resembles that of a sweatshop, with employees being pushed to their limits and expected to overwork to burnout. There is little regard for work-life balance, and employees are discouraged from prioritizing customer care, undermining the very ethos of quality service. Despite claims of encouraging time off, taking PTO is frowned upon and often discouraged, creating a culture of burnout and stress. Additionally, the quotas set by management are often unattainable, leading to demoralization and a sense of constant failure among employees. Upper management is characterized by rudeness and entitlement, with little interest in mentoring or supporting their teams. Instead of fostering growth and development, they prefer to flaunt their success and status, further exacerbating the divide between employees and leadership. In conclusion, working at Filevine is not for the faint of heart. It's a place where promises are broken, work is relentless, and respect for employees is sorely lacking. Proceed with caution.

Pros

Decent pay and benefits. Amazing people to work with.

Cons

Toxic culture with unrealistic demands from the top executives who don’t understand the roles they manage. Unless you’re in the golden boys club and feign enthusiasm over everything you are seen as disposable.
