Pros

None whatsoever. This is the worst company I've ever worked for hands down.

Cons

Everything. Terrible pay structure. Absolutely no personal life allowed. Leaders who are clueless. Both the SVP and EVP are completely out of touch. Do not work for this company.

Pros

Great entry and mid level people. Some senior leaders are great too, but they’re all being “quiet fired”

Cons

Leadership says one thing and does another. They promised “hybrid” schedules will never change in an all company meeting, then less than a month later they start requiring everyone in office. No one can articulate the company’s vision and mission. Goals seem to be darts at a dart board. They praise teams publicly then make administrative changes that say the exact opposite. A lot of the changes lately seem aimed at saving face after a major public announcement of a series d 108m funding and then having to lower targets and reduce headcount. It’s like there is more urgency to protect equity ownership at the top through quiet firing than the ensuring the collective good for all.

First off, I want to thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We believe Filevine is a special place where our people have an opportunity to excel and it's upsetting to hear that your experience did not match up to those expectations. We are on a path of transformation and that is driving changes and therefore, some turnover across the organization. We are increasing our focus on strengthening leadership communication through transparent conversations during Filevine First Friday and throughout the month so that all team members can continue to feel empowered to do their best work. - Filevine People Team

Pros

fun to work at a startup. lots of opportunities to take on new roles as old people are fired or new positions are created at employers whim

Cons

the owners have no idea what they are doing and change their minds about every little thing all the time. they call it agile but it's just madness. they hired people then told them to go ahead and buy a new house and their job was secure then fired them for no reason. constantly changing locations and structure and job descriptions. i have seen multiple people fired with no explanation given and the owners go instantly from 'you're the best' to 'that guy was the worst' with no discussion why just pure moodiness. YOUR JOB HERE WILL NEVER BE SECURE

We are sorry you did not enjoy your time here at Filevine. Working at a startup is not for everyone and the sometimes hectic nature of being at an early company helps everyone there to grow and learn. We wish you the best in your future position.
