Pros

I have been here for over a year, meaning I was here for the hard times. Filevine went a scary (to put it nicely) place to work, to literally the best job I have ever had in my life. There are some really great perks... for example- lunch brought in every week, MacBook computer to use, unlimited PTO, Great comp, cool swag and fun events. However the BEST thing about Filevine is the leadership team and how far they've come in the last year. I feel that I am not just listened to, but heard. Also, I started out as an SDR and in a years time have doubled my pay and gotten a promotion. To make it at Filevine, you have to have the "work hard, play hard", mentality- but if you do the sky is the limit. Working at Filevine and staying through the hard times was the best decision I could have made.

Cons

A year ago, I would have a lot to say about the cons at Filevine. Today, there are few and far between. Ryan Anderson is also an incredible boss, leader and mentor and I recommend getting to know how amazing he is before reading into any of the old outdated glass door reviews.

Pros

- Product Development ... listening to customer requests to make the user experience better. - Work Environment ... making great strides towards a positive working atmosphere for in-office and remote employees. Accommodating personal schedules. - Positive Momentum ...building a positive culture through team building activities, goals & rewards. - Production/Results ...we have had our best production months happen this year ... ie. On-time implementations, new on-boarding partner clients, and overall sales production ) . - All teams are starting to roll with positive momentum. Hiring upbeat, skilled people will continue to help as we continue to grow. - Catered weekly lunch for in-office employees with "Sunshine Moments" to highlight people doing great work from each team, adds to the positive culture we are trying to build. - Monthly performance incentives make it fun and enjoyable to work together as a team.

Cons

None right now. (They have made a lot of improvements this year that stemmed from lack of results from other decisions made last year.)

Pros

The employees are some of the best people in the world.

Cons

Ryan expects his employees to dedicate their entire lives to the company. Everyone is expected to be available to him personally 24 hours a day. He promises the world to his employees and potential employees but doesn’t ever intend to give anything. At one point he told everyone that he expects them to have no life other then Filevine if they can’t do that then they need to get out. It only are the employees expected to work hard for the company but for Ryan personally. If he needs his laundry done or his car washed he will force an employee to do it. In every meeting with management he discusses who needs to be fired. He won’t have any rhyme or reason for it. He just enjoys the power. There is no warning before loosing your job. You can be getting praised one day and out of a job the next. With some employees they’ll offer severance but that is only so they won’t have to pay unemployment. Constantly looking for people to replace current employees. Don’t let them flash money at you to get you hooked. You are better finding a job elsewhere that had security behind it. I had multiple friends that Ryan had told they were going to be safe in their jobs for years to come who started buying houses when They were suddenly fired for reasons as silly as missing one call from him at 10:00 at night or wearing the wrong color pants to work (even though there is no dress code)
