Pros

Great AE's and AE Leadership/HR Recruiting is exceptional

Cons

STAY AWAY from this company! SDR Managers have a revolving door! There's been 4 Managers in the last 6 mos and 3 left on their own accounts. SDR Division as a whole is "throw soggy noodles at the wall and see what sticks" approach. Dis/unorganized, volatile, hostile work environment, walk-on-eggshells because everyone is offended at the slightest misunderstanding. Great ideas are stolen, and upper Management takes credit for those communications. Training is 2-3 days of surface context, then it's a "fend for yourself" landscape. SDRs work in a "fear for your job" atmosphere, and employees are disposable numbers. The way Filevine Management treats its employees so frivolously is embarrassing.

Pros

Unfortunately, none that I can think of. Maybe one would be that if you surpass your quota by 150% you can make bank... no ones done it in the year that I've been here, but looks good on paper.

Cons

Poor Leadership Accounts are not assigned, it is a literal FREE FOR ALL Reps steal your ops and your commission CEO doesn't think we work enough hours, expected to work longer hours than they're willing to pay for ("legally" can't ask us to, but tells us that leadership is watching and sees who is really "dedicated" to the company) Toxic culture As a Filevine employee you are expected to put the company before anything else- if you have a family or small children who are dependent on you, this would not be a good cultural fit as you are expected to be in office and pressured if you take time off for familial obligations or have to leave early for any reason No team unity, every man for themselves- cut throat Team politics and clear "favorites" who get preferential treatment One female SDR manager who just got promoted to Director on complete power trip and will demean/target anyone who challenges her (watch out) You get to talk to egomaniacs all day long - oh did I say talk? I mean be yelled at and demeaned by egomaniacs all day long AE alignment can be a hit or miss some are great, others only want opportunities that are ready to close in less than 90 days

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We take feedback like this very seriously and are very sorry to hear that this was your experience. We believe strongly in our product, the future of Filevine, and the culture of excellence we are establishing. While it is not uncommon for start-up environments to demand more of their employees in terms of time, grit, and flexibility than more established organizations, we also understand that we are still learning and will always have room for development which we are actively improving with our Filevine Listens survey & actionable results. As a growing company, we are continually seeking to learn from any past missteps and will feed your concerns back to our leadership as part of our ongoing efforts to make Filevine the best it can be.
