Pros

The program and foundation of this company is wonderful. So much potential.

Cons

CONSTANT change. That is never a good thing. You cannot constantly change processes and protocols and not have it effect the client. Too many cooks in the kitchen. They are growing faster than they can handle. Ryan Anderson (CEO) needs to connect with his low totem pole people. The ones who connect direct with the client. How many escalated clients can you have before you do something about it. Customer satisfaction should be number one and unfortunately its not. Word of mouth is everything in this business. They are slowly cutting their feet out from underneath themselves.

Pros

Filevine is a fast moving, quickly scaling SaaS startup. It has high potential to make an major impact in the workflow of professionals for years to come. The company has a lot of opportunity to develop in demand technical skills as well as opportunities for fast advancement as the full organization materializes after frantic hiring.

Cons

The fast hiring has left the company in a state where most of the employees do not know who Filevine is, this makes it hard for them to make great decisions on their own. Some of the culture clashes in US politics are bleeding through into day to day employee interactions and its causing division and miss trust at a time when the company has to have a single minded focus on achieving its most important goal. Compensation and benefits are competitive but not good enough to prevent the poaching of our best people.

Pros

-As a busy, busy, homeschooling mother of six, I have never had a job that I loved more before I started working for Parrot! -I love that I can schedule my own hours, be home with my kids every day and that I can pause at a moment's notice if one of them needs me. -I have always loved writing and equally, learning about anything having to do with law, and totally should've been a lawyer, so for me (a stay-at-home mom), this is just the next best thing! -I love the community feeling on the Slack Channel where we can communicate with our co-workers, the ability to support and assist each other in real-time, and how it all feels like we are really working together on one big goal. I love my Parrot family! -I love aiming to produce top-quality transcripts for various clients and feeling like I have helped them in some way to reach their goals. -Finally, I also love the fact that the pay is in the form of direct deposit and that working for Parrot has improved my family's living situation and has given me an opportunity to supplement our income.

Cons

-Learning curve -Time-consuming -Pay rate could be slightly higher -At times (not very often) there can be a lack of files/available work
