Fast paced growing company with great leadership focused on driving mission and culture and throughout the organization. A lot of opportunity for personal career growth given growth of company and level of change in organization.

Pros

The work hours were okay. They have cafe/lunch parties for the holidays from time to time.

Cons

You easily catch 2nd- 3dd degree burn here. The people really won’t say anything either. I watched senior citizen burn his neck to the white meat somehow. He just act like he couldn’t afford to tell about it. Manager never said a thing to him about it either. CRAZY! Upper management once came called a meeting and called the warehouse workers “floor people.” As opposed to “carpet people.”Then proceeded to ask if they had ever heard the term before and decided to say that because office staff walks on carpet and we walk on the floor. No idea why it was even brought up in that manner or at all. There’s an older white lady that will harass you if your are of a different ethnic background. She said to a new female employee that she had heard she was from Alabama then asked the girl if she had been involved in any incest. I was friends with the new girl so this was highly upsetting. The elderly lady once harassed me by micromanaging my task at my workstation. When I confronted her about it she explained that she used to teach children so she has a tendency to overwatch. Mind you she’s been here at Porex of about 25years or so. The lady makes it really uncomfortable. Same lady made mention about my underwear saying that I should wear my red polo drawers next time with my outfit. I attempted to explain to the manager she was blatantly harassing me. BUT… The warehouse typically makes up of a bunch of highly elderly people who have been working there unfortunately for 20 years plus they really have an ugly culture of this nastiness goin on. You’ll wanna stay to yourself most times and just work until u get burned by your station and may want to seek aid. But they’ll like to brush it off like you should have been more careful. When you’ve just been burned. That burn scar isn’t going away like a scratch.

Working at Filtration Group

Pros

Probably one of the best companies I have worked for. After three years of working at Filtration Group, I continue to be inspired and look forward to the working week since working in an entrepreneurial environment is by far the best place to be. I have worked in some pretty despotic companies, and such environments are counter productive to both its employees and also the growth of the companies. At Filtration Group, you can really make a difference and use your drive, imagination and determination to bring positive results to the business and the working environment.

Cons

I honestly don't have any cons to list.
