Pros

Initially, seemed like a great place to work. Decent starting salary. Was told repeatedly that even the long term 15+ year "veteran employees" still had questions due to the nature of the work....i.e....always learning always something additional to learn, questions encouraged, complex processes, felt supported initially...

Cons

Then the ramifications of the previous merger/buyout began to affect various departments. One example: split already small group into two sub groups, two employees left (not replaced), they admittedly split the work in extremely unfair imbalance, so that junior employees had the most difficult aspects while veterans had only simple tasks. Two were expected to do the work of 3 people each (other group had 2 people doing far less work than they were capable of). In hindsight this move may have been more strategic than it appeared at face value. Perceived back stabbing and favoritism blatant. Hostile workplace violations practically everyday occurrences. Unhealthy workplace - employees shut down and were practically paralyzed with fear of making a mistake. No uniformity, no organized training, each longer term employee had their own way of doing things - if bosses liked a person then their was was fine - even though not the way training was given. Very questionable ethics practiced when budgets got tight.

Pros

Great teammates (those that are still around). Great client base (who's that are still around).

Cons

For every big contract win management celebrates, they forget to mention the clients jumping ship as if they were on the Titanic. This company has large client bases using certain products that literally have no knowledgeable staff left to support them. They've fired damn near every subject matter expert.
