Pros

Gym onsite, cross fit, shoe discount.

Cons

Crisis management, managers run from epic failure to failure band aiding everything. Severely understaffed, LONG hours nights and weekends. Misleading candidates with unlimited PTO, the only reason they did that was to save money from all of their turn over. Run, this place is about to fall in on top of itself.

Pros

Employee discount, decent PTO benefits, cutting edge product and technology

Cons

District Managers are completely clueless about what REALLY goes on inside the walls of a store. They tend to just show up when things are bad, and very rarely give any praise unless you are one of the "chosen" ones. This isn't something just the DM's do, this attitude is very apparent when you go to awards ceremonies and the same people continuously get preferential treatment or get promoted just because they are willing to suck up to RVP's and DM's. Also, if you are planning on working for this company, DO NOT EVER believe that there is room for advancement past the Store Manager position, unless you want to be a district manager. I saw many extremely talented, more than capable individuals get overlooked and eventually leave the company just because the company wasn't willing to shuffle the deck to get them to corporate office. Politics is king inside Finish Line, and if you aren't willing to do that, this isn't the company for you.

Pros

Amazing discount. Flexible Hours. It's a great way to get your feet wet in management and sales. As long as you do your job, meet your quotas, and are high energy you'll thrive. It's very easy to move up the ladder. There's multiple conference calls for any level of management so its easy to contact your higher ups. It's a fun and sales based environment, and if you love shoes, you'll love Finish Line.

Cons

Very low pay in terms of a long term career. Managers in my region make a salary of 43K a year. You only make real money once you get into District Manager, and even they get a paid pretty low for the amount of work they put in. Unfortunately theres a very high turn over rate with the low pay.
