Pros

Build team, make hiring decisions. Daily sales goals. Fun with customers despite limited back stock and resources. If you are a store sales manager that leads by example and holds accountability you will have overall success. All the keys to managing a profitable business are here for you. If you have an involved trainer and extra time to find out answers you will enjoy managing at Finish Line.

Cons

No time to take paid time off. Company takes back extra time gained each year if you don't use. But again, no time to take any. A benefit that could be better used. Pay for amount of time actually spent in store and amount of work is lower than other businesses with less responsibilities. Adding additional tasks to an already over populated work week does not make any job easier.

Pros

You can learn a lot if you are willing to go the extra mile. This company can be used as a stepping stone for something great.

Cons

It's equivalent to working in a high school. Communication between management is horrible. They under pay workers. The company works by who you know instead of what you know. The quickest way to move up is if you know someone in the managerial positions. A lot of things go unnoticed or under appreciated. They treat the distribution center employees as if they are uneducated. The distribution center has a 70% turn over rate. Working here will teach you how not to treat employees as well as how important communication is. This is a company that will teach you the do's and don'ts on how to run a distribution center.
