      . You learn how to sell though, which is valuable in the business world, customer interactions vary, having to make the employee either versatile in treatment of the customer can help you in the long run. Lots of grunt work which disciplines.

      Cons

      Lots and lots of focus on sales and not on customer interaction and relationship building. Depressing work environment.

      It was great to be around shoes and I really enjoyed interacting with customers every day.

      Cons

      I didn't like how the stock room was almost always disorganized and I found out that my assistant managers were stealing from the company.
