Pros

- less micromanagement - pay is decent, comparable to the market - friendly tech leads

Cons

- Not much of opportunity for learning - Very few dev teams - Less social company - Less opportunity to question leadership's decision(even some team lead's) - HR is toxic, does not help improve lives of employees - afaik, none of the departments(eng, pre sales, post sales, support team) are happy - no WFH policy - worklife balance is very bad, saturday working is usual, compulsory 10 hours - adhoc developing to please customers - pre planned development is very low - code you write will reach customers in 10 years :( - since software upgrade process is cumbersome - NO upfront investment in company level - Only product maintenance is done by most employees - paid parking - no manager only tech leads. Tech leads do clumsy job of managers which is sad for both employees and tech leads - Variable Term Pay(your 10% of the pay which is part of your salary pacckage varies by company performance) So the salary you are promised is not even safe. Company pays out this VTP every 6 months so if you leave the company in a 5th month you will lose your (own) pay.

Pros

I was employed at the company (full time) for a year. * It's a mid sized company, way ahead of any startup, so you get the establishment and guidance of seniors easily. On the other hand, it's not that big company because of which there is minimum bureaucracy overhead. * It's an engineer driven company without a doubt, and hence engineers get the best perks among all. * You get to work with *cool* people. * Since team size is small, you can take initiatives, learn and try to make some difference to the product at an early stage itself.

Cons

* As the company is mid-sized, there is not great diversity in work. * Perks are not as good as other MNCs.

Pros

1. Great location - ITPL 2. Decent office facilities 3. Nice technology, product and actually a bunch of talented software developers

Cons

1. Home owned business - Husband is CEO (...and marketing, and sales and HR) and Wife is CFO (...and marketing, and finance and HR) - all decisions are made at their home over dinner - even tiny ones like who should get a coffee mug, and how long and often one can take breaks 2. Management does not exist - all 100+ people (including the office boys and drivers), report directly to the CEO and CFO - yes there are NO other managers at all. 3. A number of deals are let go because the customer is not "liked" by the management. 4. During my time there, I never felt like I was learning something new, there are no processes at all, and huge company wide decisions are made and changed on a daily basis - related to sales, marketing, HR, anything. 5. The idea is to hire as many people for cheap and make them sit in the office for as long as possible everyday - of course how much you want actually want to work is up-to you. 6. I also found out instances, where even though company was making profit, the salaries of sales employees was cut, just so the CEO and CFO could plan more overseas trips. 7. HR person lies to prospect employees before they actually sign - about work hours, flexibility, work profile, salary and career growth. Nothing is fixed here, so be careful when you join - get everything in written. Policies and benefits are changed overnight.
