Pros

- Remote work - Great work-life balance. - Great team members! - Rather easy workload - Great tools for project management - Simplified communication tools (finally only using 1 instead of 4+)

Cons

- CEO surrounded by "yes" people - Track record of promoting inexperience, hiring the wrong experience, and those with the right experience leaving. - Leadership privately always feeling the need to apologize for the CEO behavior - Leadership continually advising us how to "avoid a target on your back from CEO" - No continuing education opportunities --- so there is no career growth. - No continuous feedback (good or bad)

Risky Business

Pros

100% Remote Good project management team Simple tasks

Cons

High turnover rate for the software development team which leads to a lack of good developers. Many developers appeared to be getting good positive feedback from management by were then terminated soon afterwards. These developers were driving our code in the right direction.

Avoid at all costs

Pros

Great project managers The development team was fantastic with great leadership ... until the CEO fired the leadership and became directly involved with building the SaaS product with NO technical experience and a stunning lack of awareness of how technical teams function well.

Cons

CEO will fire anyone who disagrees with her Culture is a joke - unless you're a cookie cutter clone of personalities and interests(like playing an instrument) you will not be accepted The actual culture is fear of speaking up due mind-blowing incompetence at the top leadership People have to spend more time figuring out ways to manipulate the CEO into making good decisions for the company than actually getting work done which creates toxic cycles and distrust at every level. No understanding of technology, SaaS products, running technical teams, or implementing technical solutions.
