Pros

The benefits are solid and it's a steady job that i know i would have a hard time losing even if i make a mistake or two. With the exception of one individual the other teammates are great to work with and tend to keep a fairly positive outlook. This is a great place to learn a new skills in the automotive field and as such i'm no longer scared to get my hands dirty and dive into a car repair. I started knowing nothing and now have 2 ASE's. The only reason I really want to leave is that I've discovered that I don't like working on cars but I now have the skills required to do so if need be.

Cons

I work in a 3 bay shop and have had to deal with over crowding and in adequate scheduling. Can't seem to keep a decent team together even though most are great people to work with. I've seen 4 managers in the past 5 years. It seems like my store has been a training store for managers to get experience and then move to their preferred store. There's also too much micromanagement. sometimes they just need to let us work and get out of our way as the technicians are the ones making the money for the store not the sales people.

Worst company I ever worked for.

Pros

Pay can be ok once they finish trying to low ball you.

Cons

Upper management is terrible. There is no real structure. No real support. They constantly set you up to fail and then blame you for the failure. They don't care at all about what the store needs as long as your overcharging customers and making them money. Completely incompetent. Keep you understaffed to save money. It's only a matter of time till the company goes under. Remember Montgomery wards? Sears? Firestone will be next.

Pros

IF you're with a good store team and good area manager you will love the job.. Benefits are good and you get to meet new people..

Cons

Belive me when I say that this or simply find out for yourself..There is no loyalty to you, they claim to be a great company to work for but can't keep a store fully staffed and they want you to carry the load when the store manager leaves work after been there for only 3 hours and then calls in sick. They do not support you when they know a customer is playing the system just to get something free. They lie to you just to make you feel comfortable. This is true and if you work there you will remember this rating..
