Pros

Autonomy. Told exactly what the goals/quotas are and given the opportunity to achieve stated goals without micromanagement.

Cons

Complete lack of innovation and follow through on improvement to products and services in an ever more competitive industry while trying to sell the most expensive product on the market. Holding on to sales reps who do not perform and allowing them to enjoy opportunities they shouldn't be in the seat to experience.
