Pros

- Everything is laid out for you. - Great work life balance, 9-5 pretty much. - You have help from others across the bank when you need it. - Multiple trainings are available for you when you start and during the year. - No pressure sales tactics are applied. - Sales goals are mostly realistic and easy to hit or explain why you didn't hit them.

Cons

- Understaffed branches, some branches run with only 2 people at times. - Sales training needs to be broadened. They concentrate on "coaching" and all that, but most of these people can't sell either. I mean I get it no sales pressure and customer service is king, but if your job is to sell then provide actual sales tactics and sales coaching, not customer service coaching. - Hilarious incentives, like a $20 gift card or something. - Very corporate and up-down structure is the norm, no wiggle room in that. - If you got on somebody's bad side by making a mistake, you can forget about promotion or career move - very much "old boys club" atmosphere. - If they don't like you, they will make sure you either quit or get written up so no chance of future stay in the company exists.
