Pros

Great people to work with. Friendly atmosphere. Pretty stress free work place.

Cons

Even for a Hawaiian bank the pay is bad. The benefits are barely worth mentioning..(and yet employees think they're great) Long on Aloha, short on everything else.

Pros

Great coworkers you can rely on. They treat you like family. And insurance benefits are pretty good.

Cons

Management acts like a all girl high school clique. The head of the group is the worst. I don't how else to describe it. Sort of like the movie Mean Girls. They will be nice to you to your face but talk about you behind your back. It's fine to form opinions but to openly talk about them to other people and degrade them is wrong and an hr issue. If you have issues with the way certain workers work you should address it privately with the worker. Management is also very quick with pointing all the bad things but will never acknowledge you for anything good. What ever little acknowledgement we had was cut because of stupid budget issues. Honestly it feels like a sweatshop. You are expected to do so much and yet the pay is so little. To top it off you don't have any incentive program. It's very obvious the leaders of this group doesn't know how to run a proper call center. A person with real experience would know how to implement real incentives and know how to acknowledge the workers to show their appreciated. It's the only way to keep your workers motivated to work harder specially if you only give a 2% raise if you get a good review at the end of the year. Call center is a high stress job if management actually handled calls they would realize it.
