The best place to work part-time

Pros

I worked part-time because I was going to school also. FTB gives part-time employees vacation days (I've never worked anywhere else that did) and also gives you the opportunity to participate in flex savings which is a retirement program. They also pay good compensation for part-time employment.

Cons

Some people I had worked with were switched to different centers without requesting it. It was upper level management decesions to fill open positions, but when you work 15 minutes from your home and are moved to a location that is 45 minutes to 1 hour from your home, it can put a strain on you.
