Pros

Good pay and benefits. Well respected in marketplace. Ahead of many competitors with regard to cleaning up its loan portfolios and getting ahead of the economic downturn.

Cons

Company chasing quarterly earnings reports. Executive mgt is all about buzz words rather than working solutions. Management acts like politicians, not bankers. Bank is so concerned with growing assets at this time, they are giving the bank away - losses and credit problems to come again in the future.

Pros

Long history as independent bank with locations all over TN. Potential to be a great place to work again. Co-workers are mostly intelligent and friendly.

Cons

Upper management is disconnected from employees and seem to be dedicated to destroying the culture that made FTB different from other Regional Banks. Layoffs over the past 2 years have killed company morale and have caused too much work for remaining employees.
