      Pros

      The pay is comparable, the benefits are good. Working conditions are bad most of the time.

      Cons

      Repititous on the floor. 12hrs rotating shifts. Poor middle management skills. Promotion off floor is impossible unless you buddy up with supervisors. For most it is a ego trip and dog eat dog employees.

      Work results in real progress in an important industry (clean energy) Good compensation package Get to work with smart people Lots of opportunities to learn new skills and broaden knowledge

      Cons

      Getting things done internally is slow and difficult, with too many approval levels and long delays as even minor decisions wind themselves through a complicated process. Company does not assign decision-making authority well, instead requiring many people to be involved in every decision. Day is filled with conference calls with 10-20 people, inefficient Too much time spent on reporting to management
