Great if you just need money to support yourself while getting an education, I’ve heard from my elderly coworkers that they like having the extra cash as well. It a physically demanding Job.

Cons

Some kids will test your patience, split shift can be either a blessing or a curse.

Pros

Good employment if you’re looking for flexible hours. Guaranteed pay if 5 hours a day no matter if your route is only 3 hours long.

Cons

It’s a split shift and most routes are no more than 5 hours long. If you’re looking for a full time 8 day job this isn’t it. Additionally, there’s no pay during teacher planning days, winter and spring breaks, and summer vacation you claim unemployment. The benefits offered here are only discount programs..not actual benefits so you’re stuck paying $400/mo for benefits that pay minimal amounts towards doctor bills.
