Good compensation and benefits for the area. Good job security in some positions. Extensive training is provided for some positions. Opportunities for advancement within the company.

Cons

Long hours -- there is no work/life balance. Management makes impulsive decisions with poor results and blames workers. There is generally an adversarial relationship between workers and management.

If you know how to play their game, you can succeed. I was told by co-workers that not all departments function the same and some are fair, but I never saw this during my time there.

Cons

Hard work does not always pay off. Management was too wrapped up in themselves to see the big picture.
