Pros

Great training, they sure feed you a lot of treats. Job is not difficult for people who have good memory and multi-tasking skills. Fast typing helps a LOT as does a thick skin.

Cons

Poorly managed and managers NEVER get fired so problems simply persist and get worse not better. They punish you for rocking the boat instead of trying to improve things in the company. Ironically improving it is one of their company core values.

Your coworkers can be kind.

Where to start: 1. The EVP likes to dip his pen in the company ink, which causes drama in the office. He also only cares about lining his own pockets and will do it at the expense of his employees and associations. Not to mention, staff walks on eggshells around him because of his ever changing moods. He's a treat to work with... trust me. 2. The senior management staff has less knowledge than the associates they're supporting. I loved have to tell my boss how to do their job. 3. The office environment is toxic. You can feel the senior leadership team doesn't want to be there and neither do the associates. 4. Night meetings - and you will have WAY more than they tell you about in the interview. 5. You will turn into an alcoholic because of this job. It's that bad. 6. You will likely wake up to multiple emails from homeowners that are unhappy with you. So make sure you have thick skin!

What can I say. first service residential has to have the worst management I have ever encountered, in my lifetime. They're unprofessional and incompetent. Don't even try to complain to HR; Because they don't care. Property managers are lazy, and only care about their reputation instead of just doing the job. FYI, keep in mind this company has a high turnover. If you're looking for a quick job, this is it. They even hire felons. That says enough.
