1. Limited growth opportunities. I got a promotion during my time, but it took blood, sweat, and tears to get this promotion. My supervisors took too long with this process and ultimately it led me to look elsewhere. 2. Lower salaries than their competitors/ other industries. 3. If you're great at your job, they will give you an endless to-do list of tasks. You will take on responsibilities that are not meant for your role. You become the go-to person and are at risk of burnout.

* Work/life balance can suffer at times based on staffing levels and the needs of clients...sort of a by-product of property management business, though.
