Pros

I enjoyed working at FirstSteps immensely! FirstSteps creates an incredibly, positive and organized work environment for employees. And, Management is supportive and listens to all instructors thoughts, ideas, and concerns. FirstSteps is truly passionate and invested in the success of their kiddos. It was such a rewarding, FUN, and amazing opportunity to work at FirstSteps. I will miss it!!

Cons

I have only good thoughts and experiences regarding FirstSteps!

Pros

This company was amazing to work for! Management creates a supportive and positive work environment and has a huge open door policy which makes for great communication. You can tell everyone is really proud to work here, and each employee is extremely dedicated to what they do. Definitely a wonderful place to work, I will sincerely miss it.

Cons

Taco Bell is in the same complex so it's easy to end up being on a bean burrito and nacho diet (don't worry, Subway is there too). :)

Pros

You interact with other instructors who love their job and want to progress in the field; Training is intensive, which clinically prepares you for starting out in the field; The scheduling team is amazing and really does work with you (especially if you are an instructor that is willing to work with them); Some directors are amazing and their job and continuously assist you professionally and emotionally; Great communication within the office and between staff; Lots of opportunity for upward mobility

Cons

Some directors are not great at their job and do the bare minimum; Very difficult to follow through and be good at your job when you are not receiving support on all sides; When starting this job, you will most likely not be working full time and you are not told that there will be holes in your schedule where you are not assigned to a client (if you stick it out past the first 6 months, this gets way better); You do not receive the evaluations that you are promised, which makes it difficult to argue for a raise
