Pros

Medical Plan is pretty decent for been such a small company.

Cons

Culture, Toxic leaders, Leaders do not address potential issues and favor the Woke culture because they are afraid of being reported. This credit union work environment is toxic and even that they say they are "chill" or best place to work at, it's all a lie. They are very passive agressive and will retaliate on you if you resign.

Concerns raised but nothing changed

Pros

The role itself had potential, and there were a FEW team members who showed up every day with integrity and a strong work ethic. Interacting with members was the best part of the job. The benefits were solid and competitive, which was one of the stronger aspects of the company. The consistent schedule made it easier to plan around. Despite the challenges, the role helped me grow professionally and gave me clarity on the kind of leadership and work culture I value moving forward.

Cons

The work environment was heavy with negativity and lack of accountability. I brought up ongoing concerns about the toxic atmosphere and how it was affecting the team, but my efforts to speak up were met with silence. There was a persistent pattern of negativity and toxic behavior in the branch that leadership chose to ignore. Leadership seemed more focused on maintaining appearances than actually addressing the root issues. When concerns are consistently dismissed or brushed aside, it sends a clear message that morale doesn’t matter and that’s exactly how it felt. It became increasingly hard to show up to a place where transparency and accountability were nowhere to be found. When leadership avoids accountability, it creates an environment where gossip and burnout thrive. Leadership didn’t appreciate being held accountable. After bringing up serious concerns, I was met with retaliatory behavior that made it clear feedback was not only ignored, but punished.

Pros

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Working at Firstmark Credit Union as a Branch Manager was an unforgettable chapter of my career. From the very beginning, I felt like I was growing up in a place that truly nurtured my development. The leadership at Firstmark is mature, supportive, and genuinely invested in both personal and professional growth. The culture here is something truly special—built on collaboration, respect, and a shared purpose that makes every day meaningful. When I look back on my time at Firstmark, it’s filled with nothing but great memories of teamwork, community impact, and a sense of belonging that is rare to find in any organization. For anyone who has the chance to work here, you’re stepping into something extraordinary. It’s not just a job—it’s a place where careers and connections flourish. I’m forever grateful for my experience at Firstmark Credit Union.
