Terrible place to work

Pros

People are nice. Made some good friends. Got a tote bag and notebook.

Cons

Layoffs are every 2 years. Raises never happen. Management and VP's suck. A lot of micromanaging there. Mickey Mouse could do a better job. Training is terrible and benefits are worse. There is no room for advancement although that is not what you are told.

Pros

1. You get what you give 2. Mostly stable environment, some recent 3. The people / peers in my location were great

Cons

1. Non-competitive compensation 2. Poor to complete lack of training 3. Too much dead weight - if someone shows initiative, they are heaped with work. If someone doesn't, their work will go to those that do 4. Weak middle management, embarrassingly weak 5. Poor advancement policy - most advancement opportunities are not advertised, giving employees the notion its 'who you know' not 'what you know' to get ahead

The nightmare

Pros

It is better than being unemployed.

Cons

No salary or merit increaseas for more than 3 years now despite the fact the senior management is hitting big with bonuses ( million range or so) One on one weekly, reviews twice per year, goals over goals , keeping track of time you spend on each assignment, how much time you spend away from your desk, etc. Police work environment where everybody can rat out everybody else Well bellow the market salaries and expensive benefits. No advancement opportunities, no proper training , work in teams is not supported. Advice for people looking to work with this company: run, this will be the end of your career if you think to board the ship.
