Pros

There are many new technologies and projects being worked.

Cons

Senior management in charge of the Technology group is disconnected from their staff. They make promises of change and fail to deliver. Midlevel managers are self-serving, more concerned with protecting their mini-kingdom than doing what is right for the business. Bureacracy often delays projects and causes business units to fail on delivering to their customers.

Pros

I believe the benefits are solid, the stated mission is solid, the management team I work for are good, they do what they can with what they have. The company is working towards some very positive initiatives that makes sense for the customer and the employees.

Cons

There is some dissension among the business units, part of the unit that we roll up to are old school and seem to directly interfere with corporate. Customer service is an important piece of what we do, yet they don't want to spend the $$ to keep people. Last item - outsourcing. The US customers do not want to speak to someone from India or Costa Rica, find a solid mid-west town where wages aren't extreme and people have good work ethic, don't take the jobs out of this country and frustrate customers.
