Gutting the Company

Pros

Used to be a good place to work that appreciated its workforce, managed the beginning of the pandemic alright, and implemented WFH strategies well at the start

Cons

Abandoned WFH entirely and is forcing employees to move multiple states away from where they've lived and worked their entire lives, or take a severance package. CEO is ruining the company. Products and services have been falling apart for most of 2021 due to a hiring freeze as veteran employees leave for better employment. Sinking ship describes the company perfectly - CEO will probably leave after everything falls apart and buy himself another yacht with his final payment.

Pros

Some of the people are awesome to work with

Cons

Going to a Hub model. Company is telling people if they are not in a hub location they either need to relocate or take a severance package and find another job. This creates a negative work environment, trust is lost, and now we may have mass attrition. The amount of talent and knowledge they will let walk out the door because they are hung up on everyone being in the office will hurt Fiserv. Clients will lose connections they have had for years. Ramping up new people takes a tremendous amount of time and resources. This is a terrible idea.

Pros

Flexible, great work environment. Benefits

Cons

Putting Frank in charge. Dismantling fiserv one by one throwing the values out the door. Board made a mistake appointing him and trashing the company by gutting it. Getting rid of staff but higher management who do nothing but sit in their office
