Pros

Remote work for now but the plan was to send everyone back to an office until covid 19 happened

Cons

First Data took over all operations and let go all of the Fiserv leadership that could've help with integrating the two organizations. ALL and I mean ALL of the First Data leaders I have dealt with are toxic personalities. They promote a culture of fear. Asking questions is strictly frowned upon because questions expose problems that First Data leaders don't have answers for. I have been on calls where Fiserv personnel are literally yelled and and mocked. It has become a hostile environment run by people that don't understand basic security practices. A VP of cyber security asked how much a WireShark License cost on a call with security members from another vendor. You could feel the embarrassment. A Cyber director had no idea what a pcap was or how they work! The original Fiserv 401 and stock discount programs were both cut and the First Data programs were raised so we met somewhere in the middle. Great for FD not so great for Fiserv

Pros

Historically a solid FinTech company...solid products, revenues, profits, benefits, and culture.

Cons

Legacy management mentality from acquired company focusing on short term operating environment and numbers vs long term strategies and company health.

Pros

Team members In house benefits such as game room, fuel your life & free beverages

Cons

First Data merger brought unpleasant changes that in the end screws the employee. Handling of covid 19 was sub par at best and downright hideous at worst When I and another associate announced we were both leaving... they tried to talk my friend into staying because he was a higher rank than I. But no one said a word to me... reinforcing they dont care about the people only the numbers. Not flexible when it comes to families or real life situations that may occur General lack of care from most of leadership
