Pros

1. Flexible Schedule. 2. Adequate benefits for a smaller company. 3. Most other employees friendly. 4. Family oriented

Cons

1. If you don't fit into the culture or make friends with the right people your thoughts and ideas will be ignored or even used against you to encourage you to leave. One phrase used by the leaders in the company in company meetings and in private interviews goes something like this; --- If you are uncomfortable here or don't feel that you fit into our culture maybe you should think about finding somewhere else to work. We don't what you to be unhappy when you come to work.--- This is very telling since it is clear that those in charge don't want any new ideas or anyone that will question established processes, because if you do you must be unhappy; so let us help you to decide to get a new job. 2. Lack of training (except for support and training positions) There is no formal training set up for any positions in the company you either sink or swim. 3. Leaders are young and inexperienced in leading and motivating employees. Fear and anger are used more than encouragement and understanding. Leaders do not mentor or foster growth. 4. No Human Resources department. There is no neutral person or department to go to when conflicts arise, your manager or team lead is your HR rep, but often they have no clue about any questions concerning HR related items. If there is a problem between you and your manager there is no one to go to. 5. No consistent review process on how an employee is doing at their job. With this there is no documentation of any kind for items needing improvement or items that the employee is outstanding on. Because of this if something is done incorrectly for the first time the management can say that an employee has been warned in the past, but that warning may have been for something else. It just gets lumped into one category of the employee is not preforming his/her job and therefor must be let go. So on the flip side an employee has no documentation supporting any good performance or positive contributions made to the company.

Pros

Flexible schedule Reasonable Pay Learning on the job Lots of great, hard-working, fun colleagues Break room

Cons

Worst management ever. (Sneaky, lying, sleazy, arrogant, incompetent, nepotistic, self-righteous and more) Just a few people ruin for everyone else. No need for bitterness, but my advice would be to steer clear.
