Pros

Low stress level and easy job. Sounds odd, but the cash registers are nice and simple to work with.

Cons

Instead of giving employees 20 hour work weeks, they just over hire and everyone only ends up with 510 hours a week. Obviously it doesn't cut it, but the stress level evens it out.

Pros

Great team to work with. Almost everyone gets along well. The General Manager is a great motivator, teacher and retail role model.

Cons

They start you at min wage no matter the experience. Payroll is difficult to work with. They send out paper checks to your home. They say they send them out on the Tuesday we get paid, but I highly doubt it. At least not all of them. There has many times when an associate hasn't gotten their check until the next Tuesday or later! They work their GM's to the bone. Wanting them to do tasks "off hours". Meaning come in on your day off, stay late, come in early, etc., but not get paid extra for it or be rewarded in anyway either. My poor GM had is kid's come in for a few days. And they wouldn't make an exception for him to get off two days in a row. HIs kids live out of state!

New corporate employees not as helpful as previous corporate employees. They used to feel like a family business.
