Pros

Paid holidays, benefits, ok health insurance.

Cons

Time off request are a nightmare, shipment is ridiculous all the time, underpaid for the amount of work and expected to get so much done in so little time. All other employees besides managers are treated like trash and way underpaid and expendable Very high turnover rate.

Pros

I literally can't think of anything positive to say here. The only possible pro that I can the merchandise. There are a lot of good quality items for $5 or less that would cost more elsewhere.

Cons

Where do I begin..there is absolutely no work life balance. Store managers are used and abused and expected to work 100 hours 7 days a week. Upper management has little to no regard for the fact that managers have families and lives outside of the work place. I was given 225 payroll hours and out of those hours at least 60 of them were to be used to process freight off hours and another 145 hours were used by myself and the rest of my management team leaving only 20 hours to be split amongst the remaining 20 cashiers on my staff. The company wastes payroll by having visual resets every week so there is never enough time to focus on the customer or any other aspects of the business. When you are unable to meet these ridiculous and highly unrealistic demands you are berated by upper management. I lodged a complaint with HR about the unethical treatment of store managers and received no correspondence back. It took me having to call the VP of the company before anyone gave me a courtesy call back about my concerns.
