Pros

You’ll learn so much working at Five-Star. Your work is always expected to be extremely high quality, so you’ll learn how to do things the right way which will really set you up for a promising career in the industry if that’s where you’re headed. All of the events are hosted at luxury properties, so there’s plenty of opportunity to network as well. Overall, it’s a great chance to get your foot in the door.

Cons

The work/life balance isn’t what I wanted at this point in my life.

Pros

- Supportive work environment - Plenty of room for growth - Good pay rate - Lots of OT available - Free meals (at most events) - Friendly, fun coworkers - Steady work

Cons

Any con I can think of is true across the industry. This isn’t the first AV company I’ve worked for, and none of the issues I’ve noticed here are any different than anywhere else.
