Five-Star is a growing company, offering a ton of advancement for current and future employees. The company is very hands on, and able to offer their services quickly, efficiently and at a quality unmatched by any other Audiovisual company.

Generic entry level AV work. It is what it is. Can't expect much from it, but it can lead to a fruitful career in the industry.

Pros

Company is working to improve a changing industry - things have greatly shifted over the last 5 years but can do more as smaller company. Leadership is improving as they hire better HR dept and Executives. Hard to recognize the work being done when you're out in the field but they are the last of what has been a heavy industry buyout and merger/acquisition.

Cons

Indicated in a recent company email as undergoing "growing pains" - I would agree. However, the changes that have been made are slowing working - a lot on the horizon if they could keep up the momentum. Work/Life balance comes with the territory. This industry is not for everyone.
