To clarify: Five Star Painting is a franchise; I worked at one of the franchise locations in northern Virginia. The people I worked with were highly motivated and worked hard to grow and advance the business. This is especially important for a small company. The owners were receptive to new ideas and I felt I was a valued employee. The company places great value on those who work to achieve top-quality results, whether it be the painters, estimators, or office staff. It's what makes this company stand out from all the other painting contractors in the area. Their focus was on ensuring the customer was completely satisfied and truly felt they received a 5-star job. If this philosophy is a good fit for you, then you will have a great experience with this company.

Cons

It's very important to meet the owners' standards. Some past employees have had difficulty starting off on a strong footing. Ask for training. The owners are more than willing to train you more when you ask for it. They are quite busy, but they will do their best to make time for you. They will definitely be more patient if they know you want to receive training so you can grow your skills.
