Pros

Flatiron Health is by-far one of the most mission driven companies I've ever worked at - everyone is so committed to the overall goal and always keeps it in mind. These are also some of the nicest people I've ever worked with and this company has the best work/life balance I've ever experienced

Cons

Pay could be better, performance review cycle is a little annoying - biggest con however is just the ambiguity with everything. The company reorgs so often that it leaves you wondering when they might get it right and stop changing because every change changes job descriptions, there is also no real structure to anything which can be both a good and bad thing depending on who u r

Pros

Flexible hours/work when you want. Part time.

Cons

Work is first come, first serve. Very hard to get “approved” to abstract different categories, and so your work options are limited. They say “minimum 10 hrs a week” but there were several times I couldn’t even get 10 hours. Hours aren’t guaranteed, which means I just didn’t get paid. Little to no availability or communication or support from leadership (not sure management even existed). Had high hopes for this gig, but not realistic if you can’t get any hours.

Nothing's perfect, but they try

Pros

Flexible work/life with unlimited PTO; interesting work with smart people; freebies and onsite resources (food/beverages, toiletries, covid resources, flexible work arrangements, dynamic space planning, parties and swag)

Cons

A lot of work and not enough people; entitlement and spoiled people who have never had to work in Corporate America so complain when they've missed their free lunch. Unrepresentative leadership. Out of touch leadership - sometimes tone deaf, self-aggrandizing, and elitist.
