Unique Opportunity at a Special Place
Pros
Fleetio is a special place and there is a lot of positive momentum right now. Although "fleet" does not sound that exciting, we actually serve some very unique customers in 70+ countries around the world. We work with interesting and recognizable brands that would surprise most people. There is a lot of excitement and energy in the office right now. Most people don't realize that although we are located in downtown Birmingham, we are one of the premier softwares in this space at an international level. There are simply not a lot of opportunities that have the combination of being a respected/modern software and being in a HUGE market. Our real competitive advantage is our people. I am consistently energized and challenged by the intelligent/ambitious team members in our office. There is A LOT of cross-communication between marketing, sales, product, support, finance, etc. and that makes even the most challenging tasks a lot more enjoyable. At the end of the day, it is all about leadership and the management team has done a very very good job of creating a culture of innovation, hard work, and good times.
Cons
It is a very fun time to be at Fleetio. Since we are a growing company, there are always going to be a lot of unknowns in the future. I personally find that to be thrilling, but it will bring its challenges.
