In my area they tend to hire recent immigrants, older workers, and people without many other employment options. In my opinion that's because these people are less likely to complain about the low pay, lousy hours, and non-existent benefits. In my experience they offer little to no training or support and keep employees in the dark as much as possible. If you're going to work for this company, please be careful, take care of yourself, and don't expect anybody in management to look out for you - hopefully you can find a friendly co-worker. I think you are basically a small battery to them: if you wear out or malfunction, they will just replace you with another one.
