Pros

You have a chance to gain more knowledge and most people are friendly. The tallahassee is good place for family.

Cons

IF you like big city life, you will be bored after you stay here two or three years. Not much chances for job

Pros

Being that it is a university, there is a generally youthful feel to the work environment. People are professional, but they are not stuffy. Everybody is generally amicable. My management has been very flexible with time-off requests and are generally understanding. I feel like a valuable employee here.

Cons

Being that it is government work, the pay is not as high as it is in the private sector. This is especially true in times of state and federal budget cuts. University leadership is aware of this and does what they can to help, but unfortunately they cannot do much.
