Pros

Offer 401k and Pension, vacation, personal and sick time. The location I worked at had a small company mentality when it come to employee camaraderie at least in the shop

Cons

Employees are just a number. they don't care about the quality of your work. you are a plastic doll to the CEO's who are just trying to appease shareholders at the employees expense. Not a real Human Resource department at this facility. Get as much as you can compensation wise coming in the door because their raises leave a lot to be desired. No other way to put it but Management flat out SUCKS. They couldn't manage their way out of a paper bag

Good company, bad local management

Pros

I like my job. Pay is decent, the people on my team are good people and I enjoy our office. The company is experiencing a downturn right now because oil is down, but luckily my site has not had any layoffs. The company itself is pretty good but not the best. Good 401k, offers a pension (which almost no company does), ok medical, and a little above average pay.

Cons

The management at our local facility however, is lacking. There is no consistency, no follow through, no involvement, and no engagement. if you are not an engineer there is very limited growth available to you.
