      Pros

      I was initially drawn to Fluxx because of the company mission, and have been happy to see that my passion for social impact is shared with my coworkers. The company has a great combination of people who care about doing good, as well as people who care deeply about creating the best product on the market. People are super friendly, supportive of each other, and management is encouraging of employee growth. Many of my coworkers have been promoted, and there's a lot of opportunity to have high-impact here, due to the size and maturity of the organization. It's an exciting time.

      Cons

      As mentioned in previous reviews, the benefits are not the absolute best in comparison to larger SF tech companies, but that's to be expected from a startup focused on nonprofits and foundations. They are still good!

      Best people of all time High-energy, dynamic environment Opportunity to learn new skills and go beyond your basic job role Mission-oriented and not driven by vanity metrics If you want your job to actually matter, this is a great place to be.

      Cons

      Small, young company - so hours are intense Small, young company - so resources are limited Lots of turnover in recent months (due to a variety of reasons, some not to do with the organization itself; lots of strong recent hires and awesome legacy employees too)

      Poor Sales Leadership

      High-turnover environment! Despite sales numbers being met, a meddling co-founder assigns herself to sales opportunities at random intervals. She tries to micro-manage people who do not directly report to her, using broad and verbose philosophy that carries minimal value to sales process. Sales leadership and other executives do not question her, for unknown reasons. My previous supervisor, who initially supported me in leading up sales efforts, had essentially flip-flopped and became a personal critic ever since. It all began one day when the co-founder remarked how I should be her "personal assistant." Lots of political BS. Not a culture of skill, instead a culture of loyalty and rampant ego. My main regret is that I didn't leave the company sooner.
