A once promising company that is spiraling out of control

Pros

HQ is in a convenient location. The occasional party or company event is nice.

Cons

- Little to no direction for HQ priorities or goals - New leadership has driven long term employees away, leaving people with little understanding of company operation - Constant fighting between departments due to lack of common goals - Middle management is unable to effectively do their jobs because ultimately their opinion doesn't matter - Very high turnover in recent years - Hierarchy is very flat with little room for meaningful progression

Ridiculous office politics. Not recommended.

Pros

A few, great co-workers. Great benefits.

Cons

In short, waking up in the morning with a raging headache because your boss loves to hurl insults every other day was a major drawback. I’m not a fan of verbal abuse in front of others or in an email. FRG doesn’t value everyone; only their pets. There’s obvious favoritism going on in this office. And taking initiative to meet people and take on new projects in the beginning was a waste of time as no one cared. God forbid someone say hello in the kitchen or good morning on Monday. Trusting management and trying to win them over was exhausting. I didn’t respond well to their style of leadership which led to resentment and ultimately my departure. Sadly, it was an ugly experience that I’m happy to leave behind in 2017. I stuck around too long. Deeply disappointing.
