      Good company at a turning point Up? or Down?

      Pros

      Good steady work if you are available to work any time of day or night and ALL weekends and holidays. Neat interaction with people (customers) of all attitudes Great to poor Time never drags (you always have more to do than time to do it in) and you never get bored Clean place to work

      Cons

      Advancement seems to be limited to medium middle magement Medium to low pay, small to no pay raises, employee give backs in pay and benefit's (for the good of the company) Having to work every weekend and holiday if you want hours Questionable upper managment direction Having to hawk one or more items to everyone who comes in the door (the customers really enjoy hearing do you want to buy a chocolate covered cherry every time they check out HA)

      Pros

      Good customers, decent benefits if you are full time, you can manage your own holiday pay and vacation pay as YOU need it. Management has always worked with me about my schedule for school.

      Cons

      Depending on the specific store politics plays a huge role. Favoritism is played very heavily at the stores I've been to personally. Some of management actually listens to here-say that goes on. The pay is terrible, a joke in the eyes of most competitors.

      The company has a good not great benefit package depending on whether you are salary or hourly.

      Cons

      The company expects it salaried employees to put them in front of everything else, including God and family. That's not the right way to treat your employees
