Pros

Food Lion prides itself on being a neighborhood, community centric organization and succeeds on many of its initiatives to provide quality service to its customers.

Cons

Food Lion is less flexible then the majority of similar grocery businesses with giving time off to employees. Its benefits and vacation packages to both part-time and salary workers is abysmal. This is mainly due in part to a belief I hold that the company will deal with a high turnover in exchange for lower fixed costs in providing its overworked employees adequate compensation.
