Pros

You get a feel for what the food industry is like.

Cons

Place is a bad representative of the food industry through inept management team as well as lack of leadership at the headquarters in San Antonio. You get taken advantage of here. People who are favorites get weekends of as well as those who have kids. The insurance and benefits are very bad. Management doesnt listen to their employees. Keeps taking on new customers only to lose them to angry customers later on because of lack of transparency. Not a good place in general. Alot of the employees have a vendetta against each other, which includes the managers. Very unprofessional work environment. I wanted to move up here, but management treated me poorly during my time here.

It is unfortunate to hear your concerns regarding managers, headquarters leadership and employee and manager relationships. We continue to look into issues brought forward and address them quickly. Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns, though I ask that you consider calling me directly. Our goal is to make improvements and create a culture where everyone is valued and appreciated. Bob Cox - SVP, HR

Pros

Overtime, Holiday pay, Xmas dinner

Cons

This company relies on the influx of new employees every few months just to get by, so the lab is understaffed most of the time I was there which required mandatory overtime.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. Our current compensation rate is well above the minimum wage. However, we will continue to evaluate our compensation structure to ensure we are competitive within the industry. We also provide many opportunities for growth and development into supervisory roles. - FSNS team
