Pros

I have no pros to list in this review

Cons

I do not believe this is a good place to work. I see many things everyday that make me question my employment here. The worst thing about working here is that they barely pay you for doing manual labor. If you have a bachelor degree,it doesn't matter, you barely make above minimum wage.

We work hard to provide opportunities for training, growth and development for all employees. We absolutely value our employees – they are at the cornerstone of all we do. In addition, we certainly pay well above minimum wage in all of the cities we do business in and offer numerous opportunities to advance as well as tuition reimbursement. Our goal is to create a culture where our employees are happy, engaged and appreciated. In fact, we are in process of rolling out a number of recognition programs by lab and for the entire company (discussed at the Town Hall yesterday). If at the end of a discussion you are still unhappy with FSNS, I will work with you on an orderly transition. Thank you. Bob Cox, SVP, HR

Pros

You meet some good people here but they all eventually find better positions

Cons

Not a good place to work longer than 3 months. There is an exception. If you manage to become involved in nepotism or favouritism, you should work here as youll get promoted quickly and they will skip checklists for you. Otherwise, don't even bother...

I appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback, though I hope you will consider calling me to discuss your concerns further or I would be happy to come to the lab to visit with you. We provide many opportunities for training, growth and development for all employees. Our goal is to create a culture where our employees are happy, engaged and appreciated. I look forward to a further discussion. Thanks again. Bob Cox, SVP HR.

Pros

Learning how to enrich different types of samples

Cons

Don’t work here. This place is trash and treats you just as. There’s favoritism up the hoohah here and it takes a whole lot of selling yourself, literally, to upper management to get any type of promotion. The pay and benefits are a joke and unfair. The scheduling is unfair and has ppl working at rediculous times without even consulting the tech if they are able to work that graveyard shift with a skeleton crew while hundreds and hundreds of samples are dropped on your head while management gets to come and go when they feel like it and not bother helping the lab when neeeded.
