Pros

I can not list any good reasons to work here except it is a paycheck. Work at McDonalds instead.

Cons

Any and everything you can imagine. Several coworkers have got fired because new management is bonkers and is going on a power trip, getting rid of anyone they don't like.

Feedback from our employees is very important – specifically our current employees. We take concerns seriously and investigate each one. Our employees and our customers are at the center of all we do. Change is often necessary to effectively move a business forward – this lab is no different. In fact, I have visited this lab multiple times, have made myself available to talk through issues and the need for change. I’m certain you and I have talked. Our customers have expectations and requirements in properly fulfilling their testing needs. The lab leadership is working to create a culture where our employees are happy, engaged, valued and appreciated. You may contact me directly since I know you have my contact information. Thank you. Bad all around

Pros

Get some experience working with people and developing relationships with co-workers.

Cons

Worst experience of my life. Bad corporate values are present here and to make things worse, they have recently announced incentives for anything that writes good glassdoor reviews. They go on witch hunts when this lab receives a bad review. I guess they have too many bad reviews here so they are now offering gift cards for good reviews lol. Not a great place to work for long. The only reason I am still here is because I have not successfully received a callback from any of my interviews yet.

I’m sorry that you have decided to conduct a job search and you are not getting call backs. If I can help you in this regard, please reach out. Your comment on Glassdoor reviews is rather concerning. We work hard to create a great culture for our employees. About a year ago – though our lab managers – we suggested that employees consider posting feedback on Glassdoor. Many companies do this. There were no incentives offered, there are still no incentives being offered, no one is being coerced, no one has been written up and we all know feedback is anonymous. Unfortunately, we had some managers and employees who were unable to properly interpret the request and/or felt that anonymous feedback would be a conduit for change. As you know, posting “your business” on social media does not resolve issues – in-person productive discussions do. Rather than post on social media, how about giving me or another member of the HR Team a call to talk through your concerns so that we can properly address them? If after this discussion we cannot come to a mutual resolution, I would be happy to help you find another opportunity that is more suited to what you want to do. Thank you. Bob Cox, SVP HR

Pros

Money typically was wasted on fattening foods which gave us that extra boost for the 16+ hour shifts we are forced to pull.

Cons

Candidly, most of the 1 star reviews here are indeed true. Only those with no life ambitions stay at this place. They are the ones that want to get out, but can not. Hint: Don't use their open door policy or you may find yourself getting written up or worse. Management is unbearably worthless and can be found doing homework at their computers during busy shifts.

I wish you the very best in your future career. There is never an intent to offer only fattening foods to our employees nor with a purpose to “give them a boost” to get through the day. The Open Door policy is real, though it appears from your email you did not decide to use it - some of the items you have posted could have been easily remedied with no repercussions. I will certainly share your comments on managers doing homework with the Regional. May the Lord help you find a career that offers you everything you are looking for. All the best. Bob Cox, SVP HR.
