Pros

Money typically was wasted on fattening foods which gave us that extra boost for the 16+ hour shifts we are forced to pull.

Cons

Candidly, most of the 1 star reviews here are indeed true. Only those with no life ambitions stay at this place. They are the ones that want to get out, but can not. Hint: Don't use their open door policy or you may find yourself getting written up or worse. Management is unbearably worthless and can be found doing homework at their computers during busy shifts.

I wish you the very best in your future career. There is never an intent to offer only fattening foods to our employees nor with a purpose to “give them a boost” to get through the day. The Open Door policy is real, though it appears from your email you did not decide to use it - some of the items you have posted could have been easily remedied with no repercussions. I will certainly share your comments on managers doing homework with the Regional. May the Lord help you find a career that offers you everything you are looking for. All the best. Bob Cox, SVP HR.

Pros

My supervisor was great. An outstanding leader and someone who actually cares for his employees. I work individually with little supervision due to having trust between the supervisor and I. Learned a lot of hands-on skills, light maintenance around the premises, and what to be and not be. Get the job done and get out.

Cons

Weak management team, tedious work, low pay, worked weekends, favoritism, high school kids, college kids who thinks they too good or entitled to things, some people don't say hello back, soft environment, think that is it.

I wish you the very best on your new career. Your feedback is very important. The supervisor you are speaking of is as you have described – he cares about his employees, the company, getting the work done and great customer service. We are working with the leadership team to make positive change and I will get a copy of your review to the Regional Director. In addition, we will be sending out our Leadership Survey this week so that employees can give confidential feedback on their leaders by facility/department. We continue to create a culture where our employees are happy, engaged, valued and appreciated. We understand that there are always opportunities to learn and improve. We don’t always get it right, however, we will continue on the journey of getting there and improving each day. – Bob Cox, SVP, HR.
